Position Summary

 

Oak Glen Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated  and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary care team. The Dietitian will be responsible for assessing nutritional needs, developing personalized care plans, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the health and well-being of our residents through sound dietary practices.

Qualifications

 

Requirements of the Registered Dietitian:

  • Licensed Registered Dietitian in Pennsylvania.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets, nutritional requirements, and regulatory standards.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

 

Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities of the Registered Dietitian:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents, including those with complex medical conditions.

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to residents' dietary needs.

  • Monitor residents’ nutritional status and adjust care plans as needed.

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate dietary services into overall resident care.

  • Guide dietary staff on menu planning, special diets, and regulatory compliance.

  • Educate residents and families on dietary modifications and nutritional goals.

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal dietary regulations.
